It's smoke season in Aspern. The Canadians have invaded the DMV with their smoke and it's impacting everything including many camp. Let's have a podcast.

I joined by my man Pete Haley Mitch was at Capitol, want arena for the introduction of like a winger not able to join us via Pete were out in Aspern for the conclusion of mini camp.

Not a not the most exciting mini camp. I think you know what's the chase young storyline kind of went away and he was there and talked and it was kind of not a big deal.

Obviously it's kind of all eyes on Sam out. But the big story Thursday was the smoke and I don't know about you Pete. It doesn't seem to be impacting me much.

People tell me that my nose is running and maybe that's because of the smoke or maybe it's just because my nose is running.

But they move practice inside. They need to back an hour and they shortened it by about you know 25%. How are you Pedro? How you doing with the smoke?

I'm good. I had no smoke related problems. Although I know today June a Thursday supposed to be the worst. But yeah, I you've had a runny nose since I've known you and I've known you for God knows how many years now. I don't think that's related to the smoke at all.

I was outside yesterday Wednesday a lot. I did the radio outside that I played golf. So I mean, it's one of these days like chicken or egg like is my nose running because of the smoke or does my nose just always wrong.

It's this it's the egg. It's the second answer. Your nose just always run. I'm fine. I'm going to play golf tomorrow. It's supposed to get better.

And I've had my fill of smoke talk. I hope Canada is okay. But I would love for the wildfires to stop because everybody just loves posting pictures of how smoky it is. Every picture looks the exact same.

Yeah, it's it's funny because whether I sure not I still don't really consider myself like a TV guy. But for the six o'clock news.

You got to talk about the smoke, you know, I mean, that's kind of the story of the day, especially to a much broader not hardcore football audience.

And so when Rivera was talking, usually there's like other TV people there to ask the kind of obvious TV questions, like if Charles there or something, right.

But they none of them are trying to ask Ron the smoke stuff.

Yeah, you wanted me to ask the smoke stuff afterward. Apparently you didn't communicate that with me. I would have been happy to do that. So then you could get into the nitty gritty about Sam Cosme or cold, cold turn or whoever you wanted to.

But yeah, I think you did a good job. You asked it. He used your name of the answer. He didn't seem to roll his eyes and it will look great on the news. So you shouldn't be too upset about it.

I think most of the time you put yourself well, you avoid those kinds of questions today. You just had to and you did your duty.

Well, you can also like ask those questions without being like hyperbolic, which sometimes occurs for it's like, oh yeah, there's play or not.

You know, you move practice. What was the conversation like or Ron, did you feel your players were in danger? You know what I mean?

There's just Ron. You've had to deal with so much from ownership to lawsuits. And now the smoke when will ever end?

Ron, did you feel as a cancer survivor? You were a particular risk.
