What is your work experience story?

Good morning to Stacey at work who's emailed this one in.

When I was in year 10, circa 1988, I did work experience at the Melbourne Theatre Company.

Hey, probably would have seen Patsy on the red carpet.

I was so excited.

They had me working on their set designs.

Each set design is meticulously created in a miniature version before they build it to scale.

I didn't know that.

This particular day had to glue over 50 pearl beads onto a wire above the stage which

represented lights.

I was left to my own devices with no supervision.

After a couple of hours, I started a little woozy. Turns out I got high on the glue and passed

out on the floor. Only, this is the 80s when the glue was very different in the 80s. I need to be

discovered half an hour later by my concerned supervisor. That's called an ambulance. But I came to him and seemed okay.

Next day, they found me a different job.
