Yesterday I got this great text from Spencer, Christian, when I was in high school, my dad brought his first ever brand new couch. The only rule was no eating or drinking on or near it. So, of course, when he was out one night, spilled orange juice all over him. I rang my 80-year-old nan at 11 at night and a panicked to ask him to clean the cushions before he got home. To this day, he has no idea to happen. So that is why we want your stories about what's your parents.

Stool don't know. My dad, you know, I'm a 52 grown-up man. My dad's stool doesn't know because

I keep them hidden when I'm around him that I have tattoos.

Surely he knows. The one I first got is eight years ago. It's on your wrist. How are you kidding? I keep it covered up. I wear a shirt or jump on and put it down. Even in summer. You're grown man. You live the other side of the world. Even when I was back at Easter time because I had a new one then, I was made sure that the sleeves were pulled down.

I've never seen you in your sleeves down. Ground me. Ground me. I'm 52. What is it about the power of parents have over us? Were they very anti-tattoo? Yeah. I just, no, my mom knows. Dad would frown on it. Interesting. Yeah. So it's just like, you know, it's funny, isn't it?

And sometimes when you're with your parents, like who you are and your time and your life now collapses and you pick up like an old character when you are 10. And you do. You go time traveling. You forget, you're not 10 year old Christian anymore. You have 52-year-old man who lives in Australia. What do you worry about your dad?

What's he to tell you off? Take your pocket money. It's not like an offensive tattoo. No, it's not. It says death to all. And it's so you turn it around and go, so yeah, my dad's still doesn't know that I have a tattoo.

Back in high school, me, my mate Cooper and my other mate Jordan, went to a Grinspoon concert

in the city.

We got picked up by my mum and dad at midnight after the show, and we reeked, like just reeked of alcohol. Came home, dropped Jordan and Cooper off and was getting a proper Alison Lee dressing down. I still remember, I still remember I say, you really think we're that stupid? You think we're that stupid we wouldn't notice? And I was like, well, someone's got to go under the bus here, and it ain't me. Who'd you bet, Coot? Who's actually the loveliest, like, one of the nicest, loveliest. Oh, no. Shame on you. Most in the bus. I was like, Cooper got us out. He was hammered. I actually haven't had a drop, Mom. Cooper was hammered. That was him. He breathed stank of it.

We were telling him, no, no, no, no, no, no.

We don't do that stuff.

He was insistent.
