In my house, it's all about the graphic equalizer to my mum and dad's music system.

And this is what we used to call the music centres, music systems.

It was something really big, futuristic, literally big, cumbersome.

They were either all the units like the turntable, the radio with the big old tuner and the speakers and the graphic equalizers stacked on top of each other all sort of lengthways.

But it was a big old beast often on wheels.

And in my house, you did not touch that.

You did not touch anything on to do with it, right?

Did you also have the glass cabinet?

He's got that on CSI where they look for fingerprints, chalcumpled and dusting it.

Was there anything in the house that all my dad's is like, don't have a muck around with the graphic equalizer levels. My dad, you know, as if my dad was like Brian Eno or Phil Specter, right?

He was so obsessed about like the graphic equalizers made it either sound like this

or really tinny.

That's all they did, very little, basically.

It was a con to get an X like 100 bucks out.

He said, this one's got a graphic

equalise and people just saw all those like mini faders. They were in the mixing console,
