0:25.5	The bad news, first of all, in the last 20 years, there's been a drop, a decline in 60%, 60% of the number of pubs here in Australia.
0:35.5	And the reason is we're not getting around each other in front of each other as much as we used to. We're not going to the local pubs as much as we used to. We all know why we're built now. We build a life of convenience, staying at home. We're drinking indoors. We're not going to the pub. Getting around our friends in a pub. When you think about it, isn't just that building
0:54.7	on the corner. It's the front room of a community. It's the place where I had my first date with my
1:01.0	wife. You know, it's where you go and celebrate good news. It's where you get around your
1:05.8	mates when they've had bad news. It's where you go for no good reason and have one of those lost evenings or
1:12.7	afternoons. When you think about some of your favorite, your times with your mates, I bet there
1:17.5	are pubs involved. And I think it's really heartbreaking that actually they're falling by the
1:22.2	wayside. These are places of community, of getting together. And that is in decline, which is why we need your help
1:28.8	to do something about that. We're launching something called Save Our Pub. We want you to tell us
1:34.9	about your local pub. You might not even have been into it in a while. It's forgotten about
1:39.8	what it's like in there. Let us know about your local pub because a couple of months ago we were
1:44.9	talking about this and Forex heard about it and they've now joined our campaign Save Our Pub,
1:49.8	which means with their backing is that five pubs are going to get $5,000 each and one of those
1:56.8	pubs that you tell us about your local pub gets the ultimate makeover. So we really are serious about doing something about it. And I think the really good news is, I think even just by talking about your local pub, there are a lot of people listening right now. Maybe you might change your behaviour this weekend or Friday or Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Go into your local pub. Even if you haven't been there for a while,

2:19.5	to actually get around each other and share a beer. So tell us about your local pub. You might even be thinking of a local pub right now near you or even one that used to live near that could do with a liquor paint or a new dartboard. $5,000 to these five pubs is a lot of money right now.
