So many amazing stories coming out of the Olympics this week.

One of our favourite ones happened yesterday with Jess Fox and then her dad, Richard Fox,

a legend himself, commentating as well.

Richard is on the line right now.

Good morning, Christian. Good morning, Christian. Good morning,

Penrith. Good morning, Penruth. And from us in Melbourne. Richard, I got to say, you moved us all

to tears yesterday. You and your amazing daughter winning gold. And what a story. How do you

feel this morning? Oh, good. I mean, I didn't sleep so much, but I woke up and I'm messaging back and forth across the

world and yeah, amazing.

I feel good and we're out on the riverbank of the Napaean here and it's one degree, so a bit chilly.

But no, amazing. I've spoken to chilly but no amazing spoken to jess in

Tokyo spoken to miriam and uh yeah they're they're buzzing and it's been great so much support

so much love and couldn't be prouder yeah i bet the thing that i'm amazed right as a dad

myself who just loses it whenever his kids are in like a school play, how did you remain so calm, Richard?

Well, I lost it quietly at the end.

Look, I admit that. No, obviously it's an emotional thing, and doing the commentary is actually a good way for me to process all of that because, you know, I'm from the sport and I was sort of in, almost in the boat and living the technique and the feeling and the performance.

So, but once it's over, or, you know, even before it happens, yeah yeah there's a lot of tension and emotion and

so many feelings that are attached to it but yeah i i guess uh i knew when she was coming

down towards the last section that she just had to finish it off.

Well, she had a bit of an advantage.
