I promised our Canadian friends that we would do a very quick Thanksgiving pairing segment for them and I do not want to let

them down.

Their Thanksgiving is on Monday, which is our Columbus Day.

I thought maybe we could give a couple of tips in thanks for our

Canadian listeners who we love. So fun. I can't wait to check it out.

So Thanksgiving, we've recorded Thanksgiving

podcasts before.

We've done some, I've done a hangout before I'm going to do it again for American

Thanksgiving this year but I do not want to neglect the Canadians it turns out actually

the Canadian Thanksgiving is older than American

Thanksgiving. Did you know that? Yeah by like a month and a half. No. By

I guess like a hundred years. Yeah it's actually historically older and it's very similar. It's the same

exact holiday for the most part but we don't talk about it a whole lot. I think

it's always acknowledged every year very minorly, but it's just as

important to them as it is to Americans. And the food is similar traditions.

They don't I don't think they do like the marshmallow sweet potatoes but we don't do that either.

So I think the food, the savory food is all there, the complication of pairing is all there.

And so I have a new suggestion this year.

I'm going to expound on this probably a little bit more
