the thing you're going to get drawn in by is this guy's voice. You know him as a great actor. He's won

an Oscar, but Matthew McConaughey's voice is perfect for radio. Anytime he wants to sit in

cover for me, he's more than welcome. He's got an amazing voice. And as I found out during the interview, he is an amazing storyteller.

The reason why he's doing the rounds at the moment is he's got this book out.

And I got to be honest, when I first got the free copy, I saw the black and white front cover,

head in his hands, looking off into the distance in his thoughts.

And I thought, what a load of baloney.

And then I read the book. I literally read it cover to cover.

And I was laughing. I was taking screenshots from it and sharing on our team WhatsApp.

It is one of the surprises in a year 2020 will go down as the year of the unknown. In a year of

constant surprises, the fact that Matthew McConaughey has written one of my favorite books of the

year, not only because he's a very, very funny storyteller. I mean, laugh out loud, funny. There are some

amazing stories. His childhood is like wild. And then you understand why he's like a kind of space

cadet really. A mystic optimist is how he described himself to me at one point in the interview. And normally you go, that's a bit pretentious.

With him, you go, yeah, that's actually who you are.

A mystical optimist.

But anyways, Mom and Dad are Wild, and he's just an amazing story to him.

I'm telling you now the book, Green Lights, one of the wisest books I've read in a very long time.
