Hey, this is the Christian O'Connell Show podcast.

It is strange being a man.

Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday.

My wife sent me to go, you know, we're downsize of a moving house at the end of the year.

And we need some new wooden flooring apparently.

So my wife sent me to go and pick up some wooden floor samples.

Right.

And so I just thought these would be, you know, about a size of a, you could fit them in your

hand.

I go to this place where the guy who greets me is an intimidating man's man, like massive man

hands.

Like, both of his hands were like baseball catcher mitts.

And they were tough, calloused, the hands of a man who does an honest day's work.

Whereas mine are not the hands of a man who does an honest day's work.

They are, they're soft.

They're almost like baby's hands, but these are not the hands of a manual labour, of a tradie.

And so these samples I need to take three them away, they were five foot by two foot. So five foot high by two foot. And I was like, my God, I've got to get these in the car. I've got to put the seats down all while this guy is watching me. And more important, judging me. So he eyes me up and down. He goes, you're going to need some help with these?

And I go, no, no, no, no, no, yeah, no, mate.

No, no, no, sure, yeah, no, should be right. Should be right. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, rip her, mate. I said, no, no, no, no, I've got this, I've got this. So I wobble out there and I'm like, you've got it.

You really have got a big boss.
