I just heard this recently, and this will blow your mind.

What sound does a snake make?

No.

Snakes actually don't make any sound. They've got no vocal chords. It's a myth and we think they make the slithery sound, but they don't.

Oh, yeah. I mean, I've never seen a snake. But they do on, that snake on Harry Potter does.

Movie snakes might. That's a film. That's not David Antwer.

Movie snakes might, but real snakes don't make a sound.

That's no noise.

Yep.

It was added by Hollywood.

Apparently so.

I guess it's not so scary if you just see a snake on a jungle book and he's just sort of there.

And he's just ticking your tongue out with no noise. The killer fact I found out the weekend, when we had some friends around, right,

one that met my big fat cat, Larry.

And when they approached Larry, they gave a very slow blink, right?

And so, what is that?

What did you just do?

Apparently, if you blink slowly at a cat and it returns the blink slowly, it's happy with you.
