Sad news.

Australia's oldest museum, the Holden Car Museum, is closing up in April.

I think they've been trying to find a buyer for a while.

But it's going to be no more out in a Chuka.

It's been there for years.

It's sad because it's not that it's not performing well.

People are still lined up there every day.

The guys who own it, brothers, they just want to retire,

but they can't because they don't want to work seven days a week anymore.

And no one wants to buy the museum.

It is such a shame that they haven't been trying out for a while to find someone to come

and fund it and take over it. And like Jack said, it's a big institution out there in Etchuka. And Holdens are,

they're almost like part of the kind of constitution, the unofficial constitution of Australia.

When I first moved here and I was sort of finding out about the country and what you're into

and what you care about, Holdens is this kind of thing where even if you're too young you never had one, your

mum or dad or your grandparents would have had a Holden. It's like a touchstone for every

community here in Australia is Holdens. I was going down a wormhole yesterday sort of reading up

on the company. I was curious to know what that logo is, the lion with his sort of paw outstretched.

I didn't know it's a lion on his a, he's got a wheel under his paw.

Yeah, he's got a tire, or a steering wheel.

No, it's a stone.
