Hey, this is the Christian O'Connell Show podcast.

The big breaking news today is the Pope. It's confirmed as coming to Australia in two years' time. He's headlining laneways. Yeah, him and chapel rowing back to back. Yeah, yeah. It's going to be sure. Working on a big collab, as a kid's called it. It's blowing up on the talks right now. He's going to be playing a race course. I'm not making this stuff. That part's actually not a joke. He's at Randwick. Is he doing so? That's in October. So then is he going to stick around in colour of weeks to be part of Melbourne Cup? Oh yeah, he's here for the whole spring car. Him and Darrell Braithwaite doing horses together? Wow, that would be a moment, wouldn't it?

Now, on Friday's show, we started to do something.

It was an idea from one of you guys.

Last week on the show, we were talking about the classic question.

Three famous people, dead or alive,

are coming around for a dinner party around at yours, and who's coming?

And then one of you said, oh, Christian, why don't you do this with fictional TV characters? And so that, we left the show Friday, and that was what we said we're going

to come back to today. So for me, fictional TV characters round for dinner, Tony Soprano,

Mm-hmm, Coach Taylor from Friday Night Lights, one of my favorite TV shows ever, and Ted Lassau. So I got three, two coaches come around, and I'm old boss. Do you think they'll get along? What are they going to talk about? Oh my God, they're all dads. It's like a dad's group. Yes, it is. It's a dad's podcast. Yeah, right. Wow, yeah, huge. Boom, Tony Sooprano, meet Ted Lassau, meets Coach Taylor. Meet Christian O'Connell. Let's get into. He's Christian O'Connell. Who's come around to yours? Mine, I've been very selective, and you might notice a bit of a pattern between these three. I've got Ilya Rosenov from the sexiest show right now, heated rivalry.. Yeah, okay. So you were you eating in the shower, right? I've seen it. If you know, you know. I know, yeah. My daughter's watching the other day and they turned it off and I walked in her and went, I know what you're watching. You've got contraband heated rivalries. And they're like, oh, I don't like you knowing about this. Yes, I understand that. It's a new euphoria. Yes, yeah, very good. Not for mum and dads to watch. Yes, yes, not for... Shooze that show. Massive, yeah. It's so good. All right, so who else has come around? I've got McDreamy from Grey's Anatomy and then I've got John Snow from Game of Thrones.

That's what my wife's won.

Probably for the same reason.

She's buying each other.

And also, I said this to my wife yesterday.

Hey, we're doing this on a show tomorrow.

She goes, throw out, I'd have John Snow just to kiss it.

And I'm like, to kiss him.

It's not a make-out thing. No, that's how I interpret it. And then she goes, you've just got dude to come around now. You've wasted your whole pass.

I said, you didn't hear. Tony Sorano leans over for a little snob. Why not? What a great story. I passed Tony Soprano. True. Patty, who's come around to you? Which one of the Golden Girls? Oh, all of them, preferably. Oh, God, they'd be traeys anything.

No, they would not.
