Welcome to the Man Talk Show. I'm Connor Beeden and today we are going to talk about how to be a better

0:05.6

partner. Now, everything that I'm going to discuss with you today comes from working with

0:11.1

hundreds and hundreds of men and seeing the challenges that so many of their relationships

0:16.1

have faced. So everything you're going to hear today comes from real life experience, real

0:21.5

men and real relationships. So let's just dive straight in. Let's talk right about the meat and potatoes.

0:27.6

And step number one, number one is a doozy. And it's probably one of the most confronting and

0:32.8

challenging and vulnerable ones, but it is the most rewarding. So step number one, start to understand your own sexual palette.

0:41.3

Now, what do I mean by sexual palette?

0:43.2

0:58.9

They knew how to choose their paints and their textures to create an experience that drew people in,

1:05.4

that people wanted to be a part of. Now, as men, we have the same opportunity with being able to understand what we want

1:14.3

sexually. So the challenge comes in the fact that most men have never really experienced what

1:20.6

they want sexually. They've either gone with, you know, one or two colors, the makeout and

1:26.5

missionary, or they have built their sexual palette

1:30.6

based off of the stuff that they've seen in porn or the stories that they've heard from their

1:36.3

buddies. So oftentimes men's sexual palettes have been built by other people's preferences,

1:47.0

by other people's choices, by other people's likes and dislikes. And oftentimes where mango awry is they do things or experience things

1:53.0

in their relationship that they might not even like, that they don't even want to explore,

1:56.8

but they've seen it and heard it in a relationship or on a porn, and so they want to try it out.

2:01.6

So one of the first things that I do with all guys that come and work with me is a 60 to 90-day

2:07.5

no porn challenge.
