| 0:00.0 | Welcome. I'm Connor Beaton, and today we're going to talk about seeking the shadow. |
| 0:15.2 | So here's the thing about understanding the shadow. You may have noticed if you've been following |
| 0:20.7 | me for a while |
| 0:21.6 | that my work has become really embedded in this idea that when we are able to face the shadow, |
| 0:31.1 | or as Carl Jung said, when we are able to embody the monster within us, we find such a deep sense of completion. We move closer towards, |

| 1:35.5 | right? So as men, we have often been told that one of our highest values is to know or understand. |
| 1:42.1 | And because of this, many men believe that they know themselves |
| 1:45.6 | far better than they actually do because they need to be able to prove that to the world. And the |
| 1:52.3 | degree to which a man can sort of say, yeah, I know myself or, you know, I'm, I'm, you know, |
