Welcome, guys and gals to The Man Talk Show. I'm Connor Beaton, and today we're going to, we got a double whammy on this midweek mini episode. We're going to talk about building confidence and addressing conflict with family or in-laws. Oh, man, oh man, what a tough one. So this actually came out of an Instagram question. So just so you know, these midweek mini episodes

0:23.8

are now going to be all about me answering your questions, whatever questions you have.

0:28.9

So every week through the Mantox community, through my personal profile, and through

0:33.3

the Man Talks, Instagram, I'm going to put out a poll to say, what questions do you want me to

0:38.5

answer this week? What queries can I address? And so the two questions that I've incorporated

0:46.1

for this midweek committee episode is, how do you build confidence? That was the first one.

0:51.3

And the second one is, what is a man's role when there's tension between his

0:56.3

partner and in-laws? That is no joke. And, you know, so when you read in-laws, you can use in-laws or

1:06.7

family. So maybe you don't have in-laws yet, but you definitely have family, and sometimes we

1:11.2

have conflict with family. So the reason why I put these two things together is that it takes an

1:16.3

immense amount of confidence to actually address some of these situations with family or some of the

1:21.9

conflict with in-laws. And it can be a very delicate situation because people can take it personally. So where do we

1:29.1

start? Well, first we need to start with how do we define confidence and how do we actually build

1:34.2

confidence? And the fastest, single fastest, most effective way that I have found is by looking at

1:43.0

your inauthenticities and being more congruent, being

1:47.1

more aligned with your authentic self. Now, that has been thrown around a lot. That word authenticity

1:53.6

has been thrown around a lot. And it's kind of become this like milk toast, watered down,

1:59.0

crappy word that people immediately write off.

2:02.3

You know, it's like the inspirational quote that you have written on a sticky note on

2:06.1

your computer or above your desk that has been there that you haven't looked at for weeks

2:10.3

because you just take it for advantage.

2:12.5

By the way, go look at that.
