This was a hot topic in our debut episode of How To Be Fine.

Hundreds of you wrote in about life coaches and we're going to kick things off by hearing

from some of you who actually work in the business.

Yes, Anna says, as a life coach, I enjoyed your episode on the industry, but I do wish

you'd mentioned the International Coaching Federation.

For the past 25 plus years, the ICF has worked to establish a more rigorous certification

process and code of ethics for coaches.

These include a minimum of 60 hours of training and 100 hours of coaching experience.

That being said, the ICF's standards are far from universal, accepted or enforced, and

I suppose that was the point you were making in your show.
