And I'm excited for this one.

We left the audience on a bit of a cliffhanger.

And so I believe one of the things I said at the end of part three of this mini series on rethinking eternal security was that we were going to dive a bit deeper into a comparison between eternal security and once saved, always saved, or OSAS.

And I know those things are often used interchangeably.

And even as we were talking off air, I kind of had to catch myself and say, well,

I guess you could make the case that they are one and the same. But I'm going to try

to draw some distinctions on this episode. But let's start here. There's a couple of key questions

as we seek to understand how salvation works. And can you lose it? Can you reject it? Are you locked into it once you are saved?

So here are two kind of overarching questions that we will tackle, but also just to put out to the

listener to wrestle with. Not that Rod and I have all the answers, but

let you guys be the judge, right? So the first question is, after we're saved, after we make

that profession of faith and the Holy Spirit comes in, do we retain our free will, our

autonomy after the point of salvation?

Or are we locked into a salvific state?

In other words, you know, are there certain sins we can't do?

That's kind of what you're left with.
