today because I love glass jar decanting and it feeds two useful practices. The first practice

is recycling. Sometime in the last year or two, I stopped tossing jars and lids into the recycling and started saving them to give them a second life.

I actually had started saving just the jar portion earlier to use for drinking glasses, but then I went into a next wave also saving the lids.

And the second practice is gradually working on minimizing plastics use.

Since I also have become part of Costco Nation, I have found it especially helpful to use

repurpose jars to decant the contents of bigger plastics into smaller jars.

seeing the potential in so many things you already buy. For example, jelly jars are awesome,
