patsy what's it for you mate yeah i have checked out every one's go-to on netflix at the moment which is

america's sweetheart the dallas cowboy cheerleaders documentary how it goes is i'm watching that at the moment. That's something. It's brilliant. Yeah, it is. For me, it was an eye-opener. Like, this is just such a coveted position in cheerleading. They're absolutely legendary, this team. Very, very strict protocol. And it's seen as such, it's a bit like winning a brown low in AFL in Australia for in the

cheerleading world.

Like it is massive if you make the side.

But what I think what it was designed to do was to sort of emulate that and highlight that,

put it up on a pedestal.

But for me, what it's done is, wow, it's actually really like the body shaming, the treatment

of the cheerleaders.

I think it's, for me, it's more an expose.

They are paid so poorly.

This isn't their full-time job.

All the girls have second jobs.

You know, there's one that's a dentist, another's a palliative care nurse. So it's, they want to do it, obviously, because they're doing it, but they're paid like 500 bucks a game. But, and it's not like turning up for two hours on a Saturday and dancing on the field. It's like a full-time job. They train every day. And you think of how much money runs through that organisation as a whole?

NFL players are the resilience.

But the history of it's really interesting now because I saw the first episode pass.

I didn't remember as a history of it where there weren't cheerleaders.

And then one game, some cameraman cut to a woman smiling in the crowd who then did a dance.

And a TV producer thought there needs to be a way

to make it more excited because there's so many stops in play yeah and so I think there was one

club that invented cheerleading yep didn't really buy a cameraman by accident it was in the first
