Yesterday I went to pick up my daughter from school when she wasn't there and then she

texted me saying I've got detention and I have to go.

It's just not a responsible parent.

I was like, get in!

Detentions in this kind of touchy-feely way that kids are raised up.

I didn't know that detentions were sort of thing.

I thought it would be seen as being too shaming, but I guess they're still doing detentions.

You've got a discipline in some way.

Yes. She had two. I said, what do you have to do?

Because I remember, you might be surprised on it, but several detentions. The worst ones were you just had to sit in silence, right?

That was, I hated those.

But then I do remember a couple where one, I had to write an essay for an hour

about what life would be like living inside a ping pong ball.

That's actually really hard.
