Hey, this is the Christian O'Connell Show podcast.

So I thought we just do this mini podcast. This is a mini podcast about the news that's been announced this week on the show

that Jack, of his own accord, is leaving the show.

Nothing else has happened other than last week.

He called me genuinely out of the blue on a Wednesday afternoon

and actually just blew up his whole life and said,

I think I need to leave the show. And so we had a lot of chats over the next two or three days. I asked him to take the rest of this week off, last week off, while he worked through it. But I knew his heart was it. This is something that's been troubling him for a while. And he said on the show that there's a calling for him to leave.

There is nothing lined up for Jack, which a lot of people are struggling over that bit.

However, it's in the almost seven years of me doing the show,

this is the biggest thing for the show in a way of losing.

You know, it started literally from show one with Pat's and Jack,

and Jack was the very first person I hired as I built the team.

So it's a moment in the show's history and also our lives together as well since you guys have been working on the show.

But a lot of questions are coming into me about how do I really feel?

What are we going to do on the show?

So I thought rather than people trying to email me, we could do a quick episode for people to hear where I'm at with it, how you guys are feeling.

And hopefully that can reassure people.
