Welcome to the Christian O'Connell Show podcast. So yes, we are back in lockdown number five.

Yesterday, probably like everyone, you were all rushing around before it got to midnight and to

like Cinderella at the board. Before we got to midnight, everyone trying to rush to do what they

couldn't be doing over the next couple of days. So for me in my house, it was all about our eldest daughter, Ruby, turned 17 on Saturday.

I can't believe my daughter is that. She's 17.

If she's 17, that means I'm home.

She's home. She's 17. You do the math.

She's almost an adult.

Oh, don't say that. Break my heart. One year away from an adult child.

Don't. Stop it. Yeah, she keeps telling me that yesterday. I'm like, stop saying that.

Stop saying that. So anyway, we were going to be going out tonight for dinner and she was going to be

having a birthday party with her mates tomorrow on the evening because she couldn't do it last year

because obviously lockdown. And then we're like, don't need to worry about that because obviously a couple of birthday party with her mates tomorrow on the evening because you couldn't do it last year because

weeks ago, we were like, lockdowns are over. Ha ha, Sydney, you taste some of it. Now we're like,

yeah, let's get back into it. We miss being locked down. So yesterday, frankly trying to move the

restaurant booking so we could all go out with a boyfriend last night.

And I thought, maybe it's a little surprise because she was really upset.

Oh, it feels a bit rushed.

It's not me saying.

It's not my birthday.

I said, look, this is best we can do.
