Let's have a chat with a big-hearted listener called Heidi, who sent me an email over a week ago.

And as soon as I read the email, I thought you need to hear about what Heidi is trying to raise money for.

And I want to do everything we can on the show this week to support that.

Good morning, Christian.

So, Heidi, tell everyone what you do and about an amazing woman called Adina.

I'm a disability support worker, have been for 15 years.

I care for a young lady and mum of two young children, Adina,

and Adina has got motor neuron disease, MND.

She's had it for three years.

The lifespan is normally three to five years.

The first couple of years of her diagnosis,

we're in COVID lockdown so she couldn't get out.

Now we're allowed out,

and Adina's mobility has decreased that much

that it's actually a struggle for her

to get transferred by Kerry in and out of a normal car.

It's causing her a lot of distress at the moment.

And I had a meeting with her and one of her medical team a couple of weeks ago,

and it really touched my heart because she, that was all the meeting was about
