Magpie season's back.

Oh, sleepyopy boys.

I don't fear the magpies because, you know, I rescued a baby one last year.

That's right.

And apparently they've got amazing memories.

So I walk unfair.

Oh, babe, you've got diplomatic immunity.

He's one of us.

He has our protection.

He protected one of ours. However, I saw some

school kids yesterday screaming and running down the street and running home because there was some

magpies. I couldn't see the magpies. I saw these kids running and I just thought, God,

what's happening? And they're okay. And then they were like, my boys! You know, all you need is one

kid to shout something and no one looks for evidence. Any excuse for screeching and running, do you remember that age? It was all like, you'd run everywhere. Skatter! You'd never walk anywhere, unless it was to maths or PE, you'd have the slowest walk possible. And the rest of the time, you were just running to various bits of your life, weren't you?

Yes, yes.

We don't run anywhere now, do we? No, that's actually... We're just saunter. Christian, my dog, Buzz, ran away from home. Three months went by and we'd given up. We'd come to terms. We were never going to see him again. One morning we heard a scratch at the front door. Buzz was back. He'd come home, but he wasn't alone.
