So lovely to see you all.

I wanted to start with just a couple of words about my sabbatical and not very much,

but just a little bit about how that's affecting me as I step back into teaching.

One of the things that happened on sabbatical really was a lot of inspiration for new ways of teaching,

new kinds of forms to teach in and inspiration to do that.

And I realized that the way my life had been structured with the amount of retreats I was teaching

and the weekly classes I was teaching, it didn't leave much room for something new to emerge.

And so next year my retreat teaching schedule is pretty much what it was before.

So that's still set.

But I've decided to step back from these to the Tuesday and Thursday weekly classes

and not step back into them.

So Liz and Lee and Chi and Ari will continue with this group on Thursday evening,

which makes me really happy.

Oh, I do want to say too, I'm sure he'll mention it, but Ari will be back maybe once or twice.

And then he's going on a seven month retreat.

He'll be away for a big chunk of time.

So Liz and Lee and Chi will do most of the classes and when they can't they'll find some other people.

And I think there was a kind of general consensus that having fewer substitutes is nicer.

So I think that will be the approach.
