And I've got to say, if this, right now, doesn't feel like a time of mass confusion, then I've certainly never lived in one because

not only do we have competing narratives on just about everything. We've got competing truths, even amongst

communities that are supposedly preoccupied with the truth. You know, the philosophers, the

spiritual seekers for lack of a better term, the New

Aagers, all of those folks are deeply fractured on where they stand in terms of what's going on right now and what it all means and who the Demiurges and who the truth holder is.

And I don't mean to insinuate that this agreed upon truth ever really existed.

But I feel like we all used to rail against the status quo. but now we can't even agree on what that is.

But that said, I recently came across this interesting concept, one that is typically associated with the alchemical

process and it's referred to as Masa Confusea.

It's a time of chaos and darkness where nothing is clear, a time where everything is pure blackness.

It's associated with the Negroo, a time in which all concepts have been dissolved and everything is slipping through your fingers.

You can't get a grip on anything.

But what's interesting is that's actually a sort of achievement.

It's the first primary accomplishment

in the Magnum Opus of the Pra materia to the philosopher's stone or the rubido.

And of course in this case we're using this as a metaphor for our own psychology, even the psychology of the masses.

So in a weird way, this Masa Confusea,

this great chaotic confusion that seems to just

be infused in the ether right now might actually indicate that in a sense

We're on the right track because it's through this time of topsy-turvy darkness that eventually
