Speaking of which though, I am supremely glad that I decided to have this chat with Jim Perry

of the Uphamette Podcast, because though I don't mention it too often on the pod,

the paranormal, for lack of a better term, does truly interest me.

I mean, how can you not be fascinated by tales of high weirdness and the unexplained. The problem though for me is that this territory is just so

ripe for fuckery. It's so easy to fly off the handle with massive speculation and

unsubstantiated claims and assign otherworldly significance to every weird warble of our already odd and confirmation bias-prone minds.

But Jim doesn't seem to engage in that. He is a rare specimen in that he shares this

interest yet he doesn't feel the need to get defensive or dogmatic about it.

He doesn't seem to care what things are called.

He's just a curious, adventurous fella.

As you'll see if you check out his work, he's also a highly aesthetically adept and well-spoken wonder seeker and that is exactly what I've been searching for.
