Now administering third eye drops. The power and potency and beauty of a great teacher is not about their prowess.

It's certainly not about their credentials. It's their certainly not about their credentials. It's their mileage, their

sacrifice. It's really their failures and scars.

The fact that they've chosen to transmute everything

they've been through into transmissions

that can orient other people

toward their own personal growth. It's a beautiful thing. But on the other

hand, there are few things that really twist my wonder whiskers more than teachers or really people in

positions of authority in general that act as if they are flawless experts, that they've never

fucked up or stunk up a bathroom in their lives or whatever.

And it's preposterous because of course we all have.

But being that I've done so many of these casts and I've been to my share of events,

you do occasionally run into these people that are pure persona,

illusion and delusion. And that's putting it kindly actually because they're really

charlatans. People who are selling a curated image backed by a nice set of beads and platitudes or whatever.

But this is on my nagen because Susan Piver could not be further from what I just belliaced about.

Actually, I knew within the first two minutes of her TED Talk that I wanted to have her on the show because she could go that route.

Her accomplishments and her creative acumen speaks for itself.

She's a hugely successful author and meditation teacher,

but she's still self-deprecating.

She's totally forthcoming about her failures,
