But before we get in this episode, one of the things that Minari does so well is talk about Asian produce and don't want to reveal too much of the film if you haven't seen it.

But you know, when my parents came to this country, they didn't really have the same ingredients.

It's a story you hear time and time again. When you're trying to recreate recipes in another country, you can't get the right ingredients.

So you sort of have to wait till someone decides to plant these crops and grows it themselves because these are not native.
