Is there like a favorite for you, Jess, of what you go by? Not really. I'm Jessica. I'm Jess. I'm Smetty. I smetty just kind rang a bell. Like, it just sounded right, Golic and Smetty.

So we went with Smetty for the name of the show.

And I know there are going to be people to say,

wow, what an interesting pairing.

And it is a very interesting pairing. So the easiest way I can describe our age difference

is the fact that I played football at Notre Dame

and then I played nine years in the NFL.

I retired, the year I retired was 1994.

Jess, correct me if I'm wrong,

that was a year you were born?

Yes, that is correct. And you have a daughter who I went to college with, Mike, and you went to college at the same time as my parents. So this is, I feel like, you know, we're going to get into this a little bit with Mina Kimes later on in the show. She is your guest today. But I do feel like I kind of picked up a third parent that now I'm going

to be teaching pop culture to and explaining the internet too. So I'm wondering if you, because my

kids, when we do our podcast, sorry in advance, they're like always like nervous anytime I try

and take it the pod somewhere or talk about something

because they're waiting for me to say something stupid or screw up or embarrassing.

Yeah, exactly.

So I'm wondering, I mean, we've just started this.
