Hey all welcome back to the show I'm Yadjerobee and I am Jasmine Carson and this is

the Reit thanks for coming back. Thank you once again for joining us on the podcast. Let's jump

into some black excellence this week and talk about some black folk doing some extraordinary

things starting with Victor Glover. First black astronaut ever assigned to a moon mission

who is a part of I believe the Artemis 2 crew of astronauts 3 from NASA 1 Canadian astronaut

who will be making an expedition around the moon next year or in early 2025. I've read the

information on why they're going to space. Let me see if I can paraphrase it. No I can't. So I believe

what they're going to be doing is essentially some like tests and some work on preparation for an

actual they're not going to like touch down on the moon itself or like explore the moon but I think

this is the purpose of doing that in the future as well as like trying to set a precedent for deep

space travel and long term existence within space. Okay I read the Victor Glover is also the first

black man assigned as a crew member on the International Space Station that hovers above the planet

or whatever. I was up there for 168 days so the doll loved space. It was selected to be an astronaut

in 2013 after being a captain in the United States Navy and he'll be a pilot for this crew

when they launch in the coming months in the near future. Shout out to you. He's also very handsome.

I just felt like mentioning that. It's probably managed.

Well congratulations sir on your NASA moon experiments to come I guess I just really don't know

too much about that but you go with your science and your planets. Also shout out to LSU
