I always love talking to him. We always have a great time going deep and he just went on a pilgrimage to Sri Lanka and brought back all sorts of

jewels of wisdom and insights and so forth in which he shares in this podcast

and we get into a lot of really beautiful topics around that.

One thing we do talk about is virtue, which I think is a very underserved idea in the inward journey.

You know, in my opinion having a ethos a firm internal system of

integrity that you stand by is very important and crucial in your self

development because in it not only serves yourself but it serves

other people.

It's January 2020, the year 2020 shows up a lot in science fiction. A lot of people predicted a lot of things about

what the year 2020 would look like back in the day. Myself as a kid I always thought about

the year 2020 we would have you know flying cars we would have

living spaces that like rose above the clowns we would have robots and all sorts of things

as I say this I really realized that as a kid my idea of the future was very much

informed by the cartoon The Jetsons apparently. But anyway none of that stuff's come true as far as I know.

And that's because a lot of people predict the future, including myself,

and those predictions are wrong.

The truth is, we always get the future wrong, which is why we need to get life insurance right.
