spectrum, high temperatures are expected to reach 100 degrees for the first time this year,

and one day could hit 105 in Phoenix. If that happens, it would be historic. The earliest 100 degree

day on record in Phoenix is March 26, 1988. This is supposed to happen this coming week.

As of today's forecast, Phoenix could log six 100 degree days by March 26th.

The average first 100 degree day is May the 2nd.

They say we do expect, of course, a bunch of record high temperatures on the books right now to come tumbling down.

Now, before the 100 degree temperatures arrive, they say expect warmer than normal conditions

with highs in the mid-90s, which is what it is right now.

That's hotter than normal, not warmer than normal.
