Hi, I'm Dave, welcome to walking as fitness.

This is a daily 10-minute podcast that provides a little added motivation for you to get out

and take the walk, and I think even more importantly, to stay consistent, to do it maybe even

every day.

Today's 10-minute walk starts right after this.

All right, before we get started, sorry, I'm a little curious here.

I want to see if there are any beavers.

So I'm standing on the bank of a stream that is connected to a lake.

And just on the other side of the stream is a small beaver dam home.

I guess you would call it a dam. It's not damming the water.

It's on the other side on the banks of this stream, so it's not impeding the flow of the water.

But clearly it's sticks and twigs kind of put together in this little cutout along the stream.

And I know that that's where beavers have lived.

And every now and then you can see the beavers swimming along the stream and I

was curious to see if there were any end at the moment there aren't no beavers

so last week if you were listening I read a review that appears in Apple Podcasts this is from Mila. She's 10 years old.

And as part of the review, she has a request.

Mila says, I was wondering if you could possibly do a podcast about scavenger hunts

and even create a list.

And I thought that was an amazing, wonderful idea.

So I put it out there.
