I am always fascinated by people that live unconventional lives and show us what is possible. Mikkel Thorup grew up feeling disenfranchised in Canada and left as a young teenager and never looked back.
He began working in menial jobs to save money to travel, but eventually with his dedication to self-growth and learning, he set up Expat Money™, a consulting firm started focusing on helping high-net-worth clients legally mitigate tax liabilities, obtain a second residency and assemble a portfolio of foreign investments.
To date he has traveled to over 110 countries and lived in 9. He is also the host The Expat Money Show, a podcast with fantastic viewpoints on Libertarian philosophy, self-improvement, constant education, and just living a really cool life.
