I came into his studio.

We did a couple tests and I broke all like the records.

Wow. And he turned to me and he said, Mike, quit your job.

You can be a pro cyclist.

That's so cool.

Yeah, it was a sports movie.

I remember after doing this testing with Paula, coming back to Ellie, going back to Ottawa,

just been like feeling like like the opportunity that was in front of me.

My life was going to change.

I'm recording this from Northern California.

We're back in the U.S. after a very, very nice fruitful winter over in Europe, predominantly in Gerona, Spain, in Catalonia,

but of course we got to travel all over, went to Morocco, went to Italy, a couple of other places.

But before we left, we also went to Andorra and recorded this conversation with Mike Woods.

Many of you all will be familiar with his really unique story of

being an elite level collegiate runner, sub four minute miler, a late convert to world tour

professional cycling. But even though he got a late start, he had a very fruitful career.

One of the stage at the Tour de France, some stages at the Welta,

meddled out worlds, a whole bunch of other awesome results.
