The discussion evolves to touch upon the societal perceptions of alternative education, including vocational training, in comparison to traditional degrees. They debate if cultural hierarchy will continue to mirror the economic hierarchy and how technology has impacted access to education. Fostering intellectual curiosity and avoiding one-dimensional definitions of skilled workers are further deliberated upon, underscoring the importance of celebrating the totality of what it means to be a functional, independent worker in today's economy.
