And for sports fans who don't have much interest in golf, but hook into the Masters, it's a special week and for golf fans this is

the biggest week of the year because uh it's also a harvanger things to come although you wouldn't

know it in new york today because the weather's so cold uh but you know springtime is coming

we don't get really good weather before may first in new york

anymore anyway um not consistent good weather we get a day here and there but we don't get

consistently good weather anymore until may as a matter of fact uh i know this for my wife you don't

plant the flowers until mother's day uh because you get frosted and die. So you wait before you plant your all your flowers around outside until Mother's Day.

So it just shows you how long you can still get cold weather.

But it's Masters Week.

The course looks like it always looks pristine.

Having been there a couple of

times they do an incredible job on that place I mean it's as much like a TV

studio as it is like a golf course it's gorgeous and it plays very well to the

cameras plus it sounds like they are going to get a great week of weather.

The masses is a brutal place when it rains.

I was there one year, the year Mike Weir wanted, and they got rained out on Thursday.

If you walked on Friday, you were up to your knees in mud i mean that's how that's how bad

it was uh and i did that uh i walked with freddie couples in the morning and um it was just

it was unbelievable how how deep that it was in some places and soft.

But it looks like it's going to be a firm weekend.
