With a discussion of what has long been known as the silly season.

That is the campaign time.

When people say the most ridiculous things in a desperate effort to get your vote.

And let's start with Mike Pence.

Mike Pence was the governor of Indiana.

And most people in America knew nothing about him.

Mike Pence was almost exclusively known as a nice guy who was really against abortion.

Now, be careful. I know some of you might say, Michael, you think it's wrong to be against abortion?

No, no, pro life.

But that's not the only thing our government is involved with.

Mike Pence has really never had an opinion that he seemed to feel sure of other than that he's really against abortion.

Now, I understand some people that there are one issue candidate abortion and that's it and that's all it matters.

I don't know what would happen if that person were president and we had to decide whether to go to war or not.

I guess they'd just say, well, as long as we have abortion, it doesn't matter.

Mike Pence is a lightweight.

He's a guy that's out of central casting to be a congressman, as he was, and to be in politics.

He's a guy that's going to have a nice crease shirt, tie his tie right, make sure his shoes are shined up.
