Salma Shah, the former advisor to Boris Johnson, Alex Crowther,

Well, this week we're going to discuss difficult times for the Prime Minister.

A lot of things seem to be going wrong for Boris Johnson.

The ongoing slees row, criticisms over the cancellation of much of HS2,

the rebellion on social care plans,

that somewhat bungled speech at the CBI,

and reports of tensions with the Treasury.

Can Mr Johnson get back onto the front foot?

But first of all, distressing news and probably the most serious thing on the Prime Minister's agenda at the moment.

The deaths of 27 people drowned in the English Channel

this week while trying to reach the UK. The Prime Minister spoke about it last night.

This disaster underscores how dangerous it is to cross the channel in this way. And it also shows

how vital it is that we now step up our efforts

to break the business model of the gangsters who are sending people to see in this way.
