Hello everyone, thanks for joining us for a new episode.

We're well into October now, less than a month away from midterm elections.

We've been preparing for these elections all year in our series about Colin Woodard's

American Nations.

We'll link that playlist for you if you'd like to revisit it.

But today we're going to get down to brass tax and talk about some of the important considerations

in midterm races and what you can be doing to prepare.

Then we will return to the ballot of former President Donald J. Trump.

I'm always trying to find the right balance of coverage between the past and the present.

So today we're going to go through a roundup of issues concerning the former President

and try to answer some of your questions about some of his like greatest hit insults.

And then outside of politics, we both enjoyed some fall fun over the past week and wanted

to share a little bit with you about that.
