Leaving the confines of nice guy productions, world headquarters,

and recording in front of a live audience at mid-summer scream

in Long Beach, California, I'm Mick Garrus, and this is Postmortem.

As most of us here are aware, there are two strikes going on in Hollywood

with both the Screen Actors Guild and the Writer's Guild of America.

The production on movies and television is at a standstill,

and there's currently no light at the end of that tunnel.

So we brought together a group of seasoned writers and actor

to talk about it, what it's about, and how it's affecting them.

First of all, Naomi Grossman, who you'd know as Pepper on American Horror Story.

Scott Reynolds, one of the main screenwriters on Dexter through the whole show,

and the reboot, and Josh Miller and Pat Casey,

who wrote Sonic the Hedgehog, and Violent Night.

So I don't want to just jump right into the strike

because we have such esteemed artists here with us to give us a little background
