The Hello and

0:17.0

welcome to a very special bonus episode of the evolution of horror.

0:21.0

My name is Mike and as ever I am your host. Now usually on

0:25.7

this podcast we explore and dissect the evolution and history of the horror genre by

0:30.7

looking at particular sub-genres across several weeks. However, we are currently in a little

0:35.2

break, a little hiatus between series. A couple of weeks ago, we finished our journey through

0:40.6

the evolution of the zombie movie a 23 week series in which we

0:45.2

1:26.0

we sat and watched the film together and then the next morning we discussed the movie in depth so you're about to hear our discussion. Now of course as with all new releases we do include a

1:37.2

spoiler free section at the beginning before giving you a spoiler warning and then getting into the nitty gritty and

1:44.0

discussing the plot details. In the spoiler free section we don't even really

1:48.4

reveal the plot because I know a lot of people have kind of tried to stay as

1:52.3

unsullied as possible when it comes to

1:54.8

mid-summer. They don't want to know anything. People have avoided reading plot

1:57.7

synopsies or reviews or anything. So I totally sympathize with that. If you still want to
