Oh, um, on Sunday I decided I was going to call my boss that I've

worked for for 10 months and say I'm taking a mental health break so that I don't have to

check myself into a mental health ward and everybody else doesn't have to pick up my pieces.

Grieving the loss of a brother, a father-in-law, or stepfather, I mean.

You know, been about 10 months since my brother that was a year older than me passed.

And again, the family is trying to figure it out.

Cancer was the diagnosis in July,

and he passed just over four months later.

So, and I'm 50 and, you know, all the things that go with being 50

and empty nest and all the things that go with being 50 and emptiness and all the things.

What goes along with being 50? I'm 77. I've forgotten 50, so what goes along with being 50 that I have forgotten?

Well, I was in a support group this morning because I'm just looking at everywhere I can

to figure out how to not fall apart and take everybody down with me.
