Before we get to our prophecy update, I'd like to do a building update and I do so chiefly for the benefit of our online church.

Actually I'm also going to do a financial update for the benefit of both our church here locally as well as our online church globally. We upload

to our YouTube channel First Service and that's why we're doing this. And the reason I'm

doing it before the prophecy update and not after is that I want to reserve the ending

of the prophecy update for the gospel.

I don't want to do a building update.

So now, for those online who do not wish to watch this financial building update,

For those of you who are here, sorry, you can't fast forward me as much as you may sometimes wish you could.

I did actually try to time this. I did it twice. The first time it took nine minutes, the second time it took eight minutes.

I will do everything I can to stay within that time. I do have that clock there. Don't turn around

to look at it. I've got my eye on it. It's got its eye on me too. So I'll try to stay

within that timeframe. Kindly allow me to quickly give you the backstory. I want to bring

it up to speed to where we're at today. I have to go

kind of back to the beginning when the whole process started. It was July of 2014 when I received

a call from the pastor of this SDA church who has been very gracious to us over the years to allow

us to rent this beautiful

building. And he called me and informed me that it was time. It was time for us to find a place

of our own. And it's not that we had overstayed our welcome, it's that we had certainly outgrown it. While we were saving money

over the years and we were looking for a place of our own, not aggressively, we actually

never really set out to purchase a property of this size. However, the sellers didn't want to only sell the one parcel, pictured

here, the one with the building on it, they wanted to sell all four parcels. It was all or nothing.
