I have to say that today's Prophecy Update was one of the more difficult ones that I've

prepared in quite some time in at least that I can remember.

And so I'm finding myself needing to kindly ask that you bear with me as I sort through

what was a very busy week on the calendar of Bible prophecy.

And it started really last Sunday and course even on through last night and even this morning.

First though, it's incumbent upon me to offer both a

clarification and an apology concerning last week's update. Thanks to the many

Bereans and we have many Bereans both here locally and then also in our church

online globally but it was brought to

my attention that I had misspoke concerning Obama chairing the UN Security

Council so it's for this reason that I posted the following on social media by

way of a clarification and an apology concerning Obama

chairing the UN Security Council, I misspoke and I should have said that he was in 2009 and

then again in 2014 and not will become in 2017 the first president in history to do so.

Now it's important to note that chairing a U.S. president, for a U.S. president to chair the U.N. Security Council is a violation of the United States Constitution.

And he was the first and to date only president that has ever done so.

Well, also by way of a follow-up, I wanted to quickly mention that on Tuesday, the so-called Paris Peace Summit

concerning a Palestinian state and the dividing of Jerusalem seems to have been inconsequential,

at least for the time being anyway. And what's really interesting is it came by way of the

UK, who in the end would not back a final declaration,

citing their reservation about advancing peace between parties that are not even involved in the process.

And moreover, this just days before a new American president was to take office.
