I'm Lou Dobbs with this great America midday update for Friday October 20th. The search

for a speaker of the house is apparently over all that remains is for the Republicans

to actually give Jim Jordan the necessary votes and the speakership. Today they came

up short once again a third round of votes just concluding. Remember it took 15 rounds

of voting for Kevin McCarthy to finally win the speakership. McCarthy I should note gave

a very good speech today putting Jordan's name into nomination. That is progress. President

Biden addresses the nation and had the temerity to seek more billions for Ukraine as he talked

about Israel. And Biden just assumes American voters are oblivious to our 33 trillion

dollars in debt that he largely ran up. And the two trillion dollars in deficits that

he spent since becoming president. Biden isn't satisfied with trying to destroy America

with open borders apparently or with runaway government spending sky high interest rates

and soaring inflation. Now he wants to bankrupt the nation and bankrupt and destroy our
