All right today we're going to talk about micro greens again and again I get questions

about micro greens and so it is it's a complex topic it's also not a complex topic it all sort of depends on how deep you want to go

and the question we're going to talk about today is the problems you might have with seeding.

How do you properly seed microgreens?

What density?

So density is a challenging topic when it comes to micro greens and people seem to have a lot of

problems with seed density.

Now for the purposes of this podcast we're going to assume you're growing in a 10 by 20 tray.

That is the standard size.

That's what most growers are going to be doing their micro-greens in and so that is what we're going

to use as our standard measure.

If you're growing a lot of different types of microgreens that have a lot of different

variety in the size of the seed, then you're going to run into some complications

when it comes to density.

So what I would do is I would choose a single seed from each crop family and figure out what density works for that.

So if you're growing something in the Brassica family, a lot of those seeds look similar and have similar sizing.
