Good morning, Adam. You have been here and there. I hear there's water taxis, horse taxis involved. You've been on Mackinac Island this week. Please tell me all about it. What is going on in Michigan?

So I had hardship duty for work and spent three days on a bougie island off the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

You get to it by a 15-minute water ferry. There are no cars allowed on the island, only horse-drawn taxis and carriages.

And basically all of the Michigan political universe, both Republicans and Democrats, descend on the island every summer.

And they essentially have various comfabs.

It's very bipartisan theme, the idea hosted by the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce,

the idea is to sort of bring people together, foster civility, build the civic fabric.
