Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Wolverine.com postgame show here live from Blue Lion Fitness in Ann Arbor.

Anthony Broom here with former Michigan defensive lineman Ryan Van Borgon after a humbling ass kicking at the hands of the Ohio State Buckeyes.

0:17.1

Buckeyes come in, snap the four-game losing streak in the series, win at 27 to 9 in the

0:23.0

big house dominated the game.

0:25.9

Offense, defense.

0:27.8

I thought the more aggressive team won this game, the more, the better coach, the more

0:34.6

well-executed won this game.

0:39.6

And there was a little bit of juice early on Ryan but over the course of the four quarters you know the adage in this series of late has

0:45.2

been get him into a four quarter fight and see what happens and Michigan had about one quarter at

0:50.9

them and it all just kind of fell apart on him and on on a day where it's clear that, you know, it's not just Shroom or it's not just,

1:00.4

you know, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator.

1:03.0

This team, I don't think was up for the task today.

1:07.6

This team was not up to task and was not prepared to play in this game.

1:12.7

And I think you have to humbly give Ohio State a lot of credit and Ryan Day a lot of credit,

1:17.9

not something I'm going to try to make a habit of.

1:20.3

But they came in and they took a punch right in the mouth.

1:23.8

And that's something we talk about on this podcast is how are they going to respond

1:26.4

because they've had such an easy schedule. And to come into the big house and we get a good drive going, then they come out and they air one out, miss, then they throw a pick on the second play of the game, the stadium's rocking. Michigan's got to come out and put something into the end zone from there. And then you get to give Ohio State a lot of credit. They stick with their game plan. They took some shots. Ryan Day went forward on fourth down early and often. They came to

1:49.9

play and they came to win and you got to give them a lot of credit. They executed their game plan well.

1:54.6

We didn't execute ours. And we had opportunities. I think this game may have been closer than what

1:59.7

the final score indicated. I think there's a lot of things that could have made this game even tighter as you go play by play. But in general, Ohio State's a better team than us this year. And it was bound to happen at some point. We talked about all year because we watch all these Michigan games that come on here and we break them down. But, you know, we're always keeping an eye on Ohio State. And I feel like you and I have said several times, or at least I have said this, and we've had the discussion, this Ohio State team that came in Ann Arbor today, and again, we're going to talk about Michigan. We're not going to give, you know, you tip your cap, you give them their flowers where it's deserved. But Ryan did came into Michigan Stadium with the type of team he's been trying to build

2:40.4

since their losing streak had started in response to that.
